This shooting chat and forum is open to everyone...all the usual rules of decorum and civility will apply.  Please keep it within bounds, there could well be ladies and children on the chat and in the forum.  Personal attacks have no home here.  Just by being civil, we might be able to build this chat into a place that a lot of shooters want to visit.  As we build the chat room, we would hope to be able to help those with questions, especially relating to firearms.  I should add that we do not allow solicitations, advertising, or pornographic material.

I'll try this board for a while, if ya promise to build a door loading bench....
       -West

PS:  Little bit about me, I live on N side of Denver, shoot at a range over at Erie, and out on old home place E of Watkins.
Have a touch of heavy barrel syndrome, all but a couple rifles are such.  Fun ones are 2506 AI, my first built gun, and a thorough learning experience.  Followed it up with an expensive 300 Win Mag, and a 260 AI, for giggles.  None are bench guns, but shoot well enough for pds and such.
Also have a Savage 112 in 30/06, probably the most accurate rifle I have, and a 223 Win 70, Stealth, or HV, what ever  you like to call 'em.
I enjoy loading for all of them, and a few pistol cartridges as well.

All the kids are grown, (sorta...), and half out of the nest... But, I've still got my nose to the grindstone.  But ,when ya buy the farm, ya gotta plow the fields.

Anyway, be fun to be in on a forum from the get-go.
 Later, -West

I made it, lets get it rolling.  Right off the top, my screen name has nothing to do with my shooting ability, it was my call sign and I used it on my first board and have kept it every since.  To painful to change. I shoot about everything under the sun and reload it all and cast some of it as well.

... get made an administrator?   That mean I get an extra cup at the coffee pot?  hehe. Not a  huge crowd here, I see.  Sad

Well, c'mon boys, lets get this road on the show.  Went off in search of the native elk in its wily habitat, missed a couple long range shots at cows.  Most snow I've seen over at Maybell in a long time; was truely snow machine weather.  Better luck next yr.  Later,

Timber, hope this finds you well.

Still here....don't get to chat as much as I used to, but what I have time for, I enjoy.

Take care, and keep your head down!
